Anonymous Donors Issue Fundraising Challenge

Many regular readers of this blog know that the Foundation has been negotiating informally with ISD 318 to acquire the Eagleview building. Even if the school board follows through with their verbal commitment to sell the building to the ECF for a token amount, say $1, there will still be legal expenses and other costs associated with just taking over the building-much less renovating it.

Thanks to two donors, who wish to remain anonymous, we have a chance to jump start our fundraising efforts with matching funds. Our generous friends will match every dollar we raise in donations toward the building fund between October 20 and December 31, up to $1,500. That means if we raise $1,500 designated for the building, we'll really have $3,000. Regular dues and funds designated for the CTC/Library don't count, and grants don't count. We need donations from people just like you!

As of today we have $15 in individual donations toward the Building Fund plus $15 in matching funds, for a total of $30.
