Positive Feedback from School Board

Wendy, Bev, and Toni made the trip to Grand Rapids this morning to pitch the charter school proposal to the school board in a breakfast workshop session. The board will have to look at the state charter legislation, and look at the risks and benefits to ISD 318, but the initial reaction was very positive. They were also impressed with the progress we've made so far in gathering community support and working to improve Eagleview.

Now, there is no doubt it doesn't come naturally for any of us but we all need to get out there and recruit new Foundation members and new students. The brochures and needs surveys are printed and will go out in the mail this week. If you want some brochures call Toni, 659-4271.
