Grants Update

It's official, the Foundation, and Eagleview School, are participating in a 21st Century Community Learning Centergrant application. Other potential participants include ISD 318, ISD 317, the Grand Rapids Family YMCA, and the city of Grand Rapids. ISD 318 has applied, and been denied, three times. We hope having a larger collaborative, and serving more students, will win it for us this time.

Mary Robillard from the Northland Foundattion will be visiting Eagleview School on Monday, December 4th at 10:30 AM. Mary is the Grants Coordinator for the Northland Foundation and will be here to get a firsthand look at our needs and capabilities.

Time Out for Halloween Fun

Eagleview's annual Halloween fun started with cookie decorating and ended with a snowy ride home. In between everyone had a good time with entertainment provided by DJ Jackie Schuemann and games staffed by volunteers. Who could resist putting their hands in gooey brains (cold spaghetti) to earn prizes.

Zorro helped out with the fish pond. Or is that the Hamburgler? Really it's our favorite lunch lady, Jackie.
